Thanks for coming tonight everyone, and special thanks again to the Kate, Ronald, Chris, TC, and Stevan at Revzilla for hosting us. What an awesome turnout with so many new faces! Quite a few folks signed up for the forum during the talk, so welcome to the newcomers!
Rich did a great job on the talk, and I’m truly appreciative of his knowledge and willingness to take time to share.
For those who attended, we’d love to hear feedback about what worked and what didn’t, what you’d like to see more of (or less of), and so on. And if you have any followup questions, of course please ask here. And if you took any photos, post ‘em up!
I’ve attached the deck for reference and historical purposes, but please know you’re missing 50% of the information, jokes, and shit talking that happened in person… so come to the next one.
Was fun for me to reconnect with the teaching, speaking, clinic-giving stuff I did for a so long in another lifetime. Back in the day I had a long playlist of “raps” in my head: if asked questions on cycling cadence, triathlon bike fit, how to race an Ironman with power, etc, I could just pull those up, press play, and wake up 30 min later. I’ll get there in this space. As such, I prefer to go heavy on the open QnA vs straight up presentation.
2nd and 3rd classes will have more actual instructions and tips, and I’ll do a better job of encouraging people to think of questions while I’m speaking, so it can be a more of guided conversation vs a talking head.
On that note, please help me prime the pump of these next classes by posting any questions, topics you’d like to see discussed, etc.
