Anyone else planning to attend the Expo? I expect to get there around 9:30am Friday and stay for the Moto Party at 7PM.
I’ll probably swing by early Sunday to say to some homies including Paul at his Adventure Tool Company booth. Friday/Sat I’m out.
Are there any moto venders coming this year? Based on what I can see on the website, its looking pretty weak from the moto side of things.
Yes, a dedicated ADV/Moto area at the Expo has vendors, seminars, and hosts the “moto party” on Friday evening. There are not as many moto specific offerings as there are for the 4-wheel and camping communities as I understand it, but many of those vendors could cross over to the moto/ADV community too, depending on your interests. I’m curious about seeing some of the van outfitters myself.

I went on Friday. Not too many moto specific vendors. Some show discounts from the vendors I saw, around 10%. I did get a sport tool wrap from BCADV member, Paul at Adventure Tool Company. Overall the event was larger than I was expecting.
I’ve been kinda thinking (not very hard, as I’m no very good at it…thinking) about a moto-thing that we could ask Paul to prototype. I like the Kriega and Wolfman designs of a luggage base that you can then mix and match bags to accommodate different missions.
In this case, a molle base to which you attach molle bags.
Anyway, that’s all I got. My head hurts…
