300-450cc Dual Sport - Anyone selling?

I finally decided to sell my DR650 so I could downsize to something more playful on the trails. Who has what for sale? To be honest, I am probably aiming for a KLX300, WR250R or DR-z400, possibly a CRF300L ideally with upgraded suspension. I’ll skip the KTMs, Huskies and anything else with seat heights that high. I just want to enjoy the trails this go around without the need to rip it everywhere I go. Ideally it is already street legal with title. I have converted a few, but would rather not go through it if not necessary.

Oh and does anyone happen to have a WR250F (or any of these bikes for that matter) who would let me take a gentle spin on? No need for a DR-z test. I have owned one. I have interest in the WR250F, but it seems like you need to get em up in the revs to get their power and I don’t know that it suits my typical trail riding/exploring MO.

I have a WR250R, maybe we could figure out a time/place for you to check it out

That would be great Bill. Let me know what might work for you and I’ll try to make it work. Where you located?

I’ve got a well built drz locally

Well no need for that test ride now. I ended up diving into the WR250R pool this evening head first with both hands tied behind my back. Thanks for the offer Bill. I do appreciate it.

No worries , offer still stands if you need it

Just because I love it

I’ll bring mine on the Red Feathers ride tomorrow in case you’re planning to be there. Say hello.

The Unicorn Dual Sport Has Arrived:

Ha. Yeah I like that video. Saw it back when F9 put it out and again this morning.

Unfortunately I need to stick a little closer to home this weekend and do a smaller ride , but hope to get out and meet more people soon !

Happy to hear that. It’s been on my list of bikes to need to own at some point, so I figured now is good a time as any. I hope I like it. It doesn’t have the low end that I like, but it ticks every one of my other boxes, so I’ll give it a go.
