Hector and I rode out of Montezuma yesterday hitting Saints John, Deer Creek, Wise Mountain and up Radical Hill. Radical Hill was fun until it wasn’t; there are interesting rock obstacles at the beginning, but the last long climbs are extremely loose. I spent more time trying to catch my breath than moving forward. Thanks Hector for your patience! The Pizza in Keystone at Pizza On The Run was well earned.

How were Saints John and Deer Creek? Never done either.
Both are fun. Anything above treeline is fun to me. One tricky part is a loose climb to the northeast of Wise Mtn, where I’m pointing.
This was the route, although we ended up going back to montezuma at the end instead of down to breck:
