Gonna be about 38f in Lyons at 11a. I need to find my Gerbing jacket…

Will be trucking the dirtbike up to get some last minute singletrack in before the snow flies. I will look for the group to introduce myself when I pop out on the roads.

Will be on 790. No ST for me this time

I think I’m in! I will be in line outside of WalMart all night, but I should be leaving with my new Ozark Trail laptop by 6:00am.

I (Mason on the 350) waited a long time for the last Norden which I thought never showed up so I backtracked, and waited at the JP lot a long time again. Eventually I rode home.

Hey Mason,

Looks like you and Bill missed each other. @Michaelmichaelmoto rode the route backward to find you while we waited at the Pierson Park intersection.

We’re at Oskar Blues in Lyons now.

Glad all ok and accounted for.

FYI, you totally did the right thing, we appreciate it! Just another use case for radios.

See our radio SOP, I believe in the Tech / How-To section? Michael, Jason and I were able to talk today across a couple of miles. Very very useful for these Where’s Waldo situations

Yeah I have the same 5W RT you guys have…..it was sitting safely on my kitchen counter with my sunglasses.

Sweet. See SOP for channel and the privacy code we use to avoid crosstalk with other users

Good ride today. Can’t believe we were riding in dust on 11/28! Was also surprised by the number of Christmas tree hunters out today as well.

Yep, very unexpected.

FYI, apparently there is some…program or something, that allows you to go out into the forest a cut down your own Xmas tree. We saw several dozen vehicles and groups out there harvesting trees.

To add… officially closed on the 30th now too. Nice job getting in the final run gents.

Thanks to @BillMcGee , @MotoJason , @noahnomad , @Michaelmichaelmoto @Mason_Jones for joining me. @jcurry saw us as we were exiting JP and joined us at Oskar Blues afterwards.

JP etc is now my preferred riding area vs the endless rocks directly above Boulder. And it would be great if the forest service would move Old Flowers and Kelly Flats to just outside Estes, making for a very efficient loop.

Thanks so much for putting that together, @Rich_Strauss ! And I’ll agree with that assessment - it’s my new favorite as well.
