Gino and I have updated the radio SOP here to now include primary and alternate channels / freqs, with a privacy code added to each.
Why the change?
One common complaint we’ve seen is club members picking up transmissions from other radio users in the area, stepping on our conversations.
The addition of a privacy code to these channels (Rocky Talky) or frequencies (Baofeng) should eliminate or greatly reduce this annoyance.
