Looking at combining their base with either 15L or 20L bags.
Any feedback on durability, etc?
I know it’s a Kriega knockoff, and I’ve had a Kriega 10L bag since Forever.

I know it’s a Kriega knockoff, and I’ve had a Kriega 10L bag since Forever.
I run 2 of their tailbags. 1 has been on Aprilia for nearly 2 years as the standard luggage with basics. Had no real issues, they are waterproof and seam welded. Price was right. But they don’t hit much being on the tail.
Can’t tell the difference between what they call a tail bag and pannier bag? Probably typical poor translation of Chinese / English.
15L “Tailbag” but has pannier in the title…but it’s >2x the price of ^this^
I have that 15L tailbag if you want to check build quality. To add… if you have pander racks, you could strap it to them. Theres various mounting points, but I just use for tail. I have the smaller 8L I used on ktm.
Looks like it uses those hook attachment points, like Kriega? I would get the RW base and attach bags to that. As they’re on sale, will likely pick up the base, a 15L, 20L, 30L bag, decide which direction I want to go, return the rest.
Following up with this:
Bought the RW base and an assortment of 15L, 20L, 30L bags.
Straps on the base were cheap and likely to break in first drop at any speed. Bags were super strappy…straps out the ass and I just couldn’t be bother to figure out how I’d secure them to any base, frankly. Returned it all to Amazon.
I mounted up the side luggage racks that came with the bike and I didn’t like how far they stuck out to the side, much less with any size panniers on them. I’m used to my racks on the 990 which are VERY narrow and tight.
Commander’s intent: all weight low and in front of the rear axle
Picked up this on a Black Friday sale: Moto-Nomad Rackless. Combines a removable base with durable roll top panniers. I highly prefer this style of pannier vs the holster, bag-in-a-bag-in-a-holster setup. Even though I already have a Tusk 40L duffel, I got their duffel as it clips directly to their base.
I also picked up 2x 4L Mosko Aux Pods for tools, tubes, compressor, jumper battery, etc, to be mounted on the side racks and will stay on the bike. Luggage base will go over these.
I’ll update here when I get the goods and mount them up
Aux Poxs on the racks are
. Great for normal riding and you can fit either the 4L or 5L bags inside. As you are going to do, I put a rackless system (Mosko 80 for me) over the top for camping. Great, flexible setup.
I just got the inner bags (4L) not the holster. Inspired by @Scooch setup. 4L cuz cheaper, big enough and in Coyote color. Wanted orange but not available
@Scooch runs these sans the holsters on his 890 (which he graciously let me ride for a couple days last month), and it’s such a cool, minimalist setup.
I am just lazy and I crash a lot
. I found that the holsters allow access to the bags more quickly (without adjusting/readjusting the lashing straps) and hold up better in a crash. I run sans holsters with my Reckless on top. Definitely more minimal without the holsters.
Ah, quicker access is truth!
5L Aux Pox dry bags on sale for $10 (!) each, ends today.
I paid ~$24 each for the 4Ls. Sonofa…
I just ordered 2. I was looking at some Chinese dry bags around the same size and the cheapest ones we’re going to be 30 bucks. I wanted something small like this to hold two tubes and some basic tools & tire irons. Now I can have Mosko on my bike and people will think I’m cool. Sweet.
