I’ve got a Zoleo satellite communicator that I don’t need anymore. It works fine but I’ve switched to a Garmin device for reasons.
I’ve used this for several years to keep in touch with my wife when I’m out of cell range. It’s worked well for that. The only flaw has been that for some reason the app always shows that the battery is about to die even when it has a full charge. You can check battery level on the device itself so that’s not a big problem.
I have a cradle to attach it to a backpack strap as well.
