Was pristine. Highly recommended as all historical parts that served as gatekeeping have groomed bypasses now, for full size vehicles.
I’d qualify it as big-bike friendly on Johnny Park from the main parking area, and mostly friendly in Pierson. Less challenging than old flowers with bomb craters.
I’m not sure how long you’ve ran that DMD set up. I’ve had mine for a while and the 690/701 thumper vibes seem to kill all of the types of DMD mounts. I went with their locking mount, on top of a Hondo Garage anti vibe mount. Then I top it off with some dielectric grease on the pins for the phone/mount. Only way I’ve got them to survive.
The vibes kill the contact between the pins and the connection on the phone itself. The first time, they sent me a free phone back to repair it. That worked, then the second mount with the metal pins started doing the same thing.
If you have it set to automatically turn off when the bike shuts off, you’ll notice it starting to try to shut off while going down the road.
Other than that issue, I absolutely love the DMD setup. I’ve got the OBD2 connector, tire pressure sensors and their handlebar remote.
