I love anything with 2 wheels, besides my KLR I ride a Honda Reflex NSS250 (250cc moped/scooter/small wheeled motorcycle….whatever you want to call it), and I have a project 83 Yamaha Venture Royale with a ‘91 1300 motor in it. It runs and drives but needs the carbs rebuilt (have the kits), brake calipers rebuild (have that kit), and some general tightening up.
I have 4 people powered 2 wheel devices that I try to get out on as much as possible…..not all at once.
I have 3 boys (9, 11, and 13) who are wild and love the outdoors. And because of that I’m a Cubmaster to my youngest in his Pack and eventually will take over as Scoutmaster to my middle kid’s troop when my youngest crosses over.
For work, I’m a Denver cop, and been a cop for 10 years now. 7 of which were with the Chicago Police department, yes that Chicago. And yes I’m an invasive species to Colorado.
I’m hoping to get into hunting next year as that was, along with better access to the outdoors, a big reason the family and I moved out here.
