I am thinking of riding Switzerland trail and the fire road to Yankee Doodle lake… if you have ridden either in the past week could you let me know what the snow / water pooling situation looks like?
If you mean Yankee Doodle up by Rollins Pass, highly unlikely that the road is open that far up.
Switz was open and completely dry for the last few weeks but don’t know what it would be like after the snow last week. Please let us know if you go out there.

I live in Nederland. Just drove switz in the snow storm and it was still dry, so its definitely dry now.

I rode it from Gold Hill Rd to Four Mile Canyon Dr today and it was dusty and dry.

well I wanted to go but got sick and then got even more sick somehow… so I’ll wait until June because I am riding to Durango / Glenwood Springs over Memorial Day weekend… hopefully by then everything is more rideable
