I’m interested! If there was a definite plan to ride the White Rim in a day from Island In The Sky, down Schaffers and exit out past Potato Bottom. Heck, in reverse is great too.
I’ve done this ride in a day a la MTB several times and would really like to have company for a moto tour. It’s about 120 miles to do the full loop from gas station to gas station …maybe a little more. It’s incredibly gorgeous and that’s saying a lot considering most everything in the vicinity of Moab is wicked amazing. WR has very little sand …just on the exit from Potato Bottom. Otherwise, It’s all shelf rock, which is great. Those dates are nearly perfect …unless it snows. Right now (late Oct / early Nov) is really the most optimal time because of less chance of precipitation.
I can haul an extra bike on my trailer and an extra butt in the passenger seat. The space behind me is my solo bed, frig and stove.
Thoughts?
White rim is a great ride in a must do however, I’ve done it probably a half dozen times, but if someone else wants to organize, that would be a great of riding
I am a strong maybe and want to join. Just need to nail down a few other things. Sounds like a lot of fun.

White Rim was the epitome of an ADV ride. I want to hit slickrock stuff again, that was amazing. I’m going to try really hard to make this trip.

Actually that is perfect. On Day 1 (Moto) you can stash all your water and food and then use it on Day 2 (caveman bike).

I hope we get a great turnout for this. I love moab, and sharing it with folks. There’s every type of riding, and lots of camping spots, or hotels. The only downside… is it’s not next week.
I hate waiting for moab trips.

Mark me as tentative. I plan to go and camp dispersed as long as nothing pops up.
I was there last weekend with my kids. Great weather. Trails included White Rim, Gold Bar Rim, Lockhart Basin, Slickrock.

I am interested. I would like to do White Rim on the Tuareg one of the days. I usually like to disperse camp in this area (circled on map) because you can access easily access White Rim, and the Gemini, Golden Spike, and White Wash areas from a central location. Close to BLM campsite facilities if needed. Also, if open during the BRC / BLM appeal I’d love to ride Tubes/Dead Cow and or 10 Mile Canyon too if anyone is interested in that.

Yes, that’s exactly where I was going to set up camp. Easy access to so much good writing, and gas across the street.
I’ve done white rim about 18 billion jillion times, so I’m not in for that one. But it is an epic ride that everyone should do at least once.
