Was unable to make it to the first session, but planning on making the second class this Tuesday… anyone have an opening in a carpool from the Berthoud/Longmont area? If not, looking like it may be good riding weather that day anyway!
I’m riding down. Forecast looks good
Reminder: Class #2, The Gear, is tomorrow at 7p, Revzilla in Denver. Please bring a chair and one to share, if you have another.
This is will be absolute firehose of info regarding protective gear, riding apparel, luggage systems, packing / loading methods, camping gear, and more. If you wear it or it goes on your bike, I’ll likely hit it.
Most of all, I’m notoriously frugal / cheap, so you’ll definitely learn what to buy, what not to buy, and not make the same mistakes I’ve made cuz I’ve made them all ![]()
I’m also asking those with a good toolkit or tool roll to bring that as well, as a teaching aid. I’m going to briefly discuss tools to bring but it would helpful if we had good examples to pass around. My toolkit isn’t very remarkable, frankly.
TIA and we’ll see you down there!
I am going to ride down so I’ll have my tools on the bike.
I’ll have my tool roll as well
AND
My green chilli gear kit as well!
Anyone riding down from the I25/104th Thornton area and want to ride together?
Standing invite for us more easterly folk to carpool from Erie.
Last class is approaching! Tuesday, March 31 at Revzilla. Bring a pal, come early for dinner nearby, and bring a chair.
