I heard some of you like riding motorcycles. I’m going to do just that tomorrow. Wanna join? Meet me in Evergreen and we’ll head to Idaho Springs from there.
Up Squaw Pass, down little bear creek road and old little bear creek rd to Idaho Springs, then up Hidden Wilderness for a lollipop and side trail exploration. Then, its open ended. Maybe over to Cascade Creek to see if we can get over to Georgetown. Or up Ute Creek and we’ll just explore. This will all be an A to A+ ride on a big bike. Intermediate on a DS.

How was the ride?

The ride was great- it became a scouting mission for the Cotillion ride. I got 2/3 of the way up Cascade Creek when the trail became snow covered with about 5" of slush. I somehow made it another 1/4 mile up till I came to a climb that couldn’t be done with snow, so I turned back and used some new connecting trails. I recorded the track on Gaia for the whole ride so I could refer back for making the Cotillion GPX. Found a neato old burned out cabin by an overlook too.
