We did Kokopelli a couple years ago and got caught in a rainstorm in the areas around Dome Plateau. That mud is miserable and I ended up frying a clutch. Super fun route though. We started around 10am and were in Moab by 6pm and that was with a 100 mile detour and a 10-feet at a time mud fest.
