I won’t be able to make Rich’s MTBDR trip due to prior travel plans w/Starla.
That said, I’m planning a go at the MTBDR route a couple weeks later, the last week of September. I’d be able to begin the adventure between 21 and 28 September from Boulder. BDR org states 7-9 days for the route, and I’d slate two days driving to get there and back for myself. There’s also a possibility that I won’t be coming straight back after the BDR, because wifey may come and we’ll ride MTB’s in a few places after the BDR.
For those who can do a bit more time away, this will be an intermediate explorer-paced ride experience with no real urgency beyond getting to whatever planned lodging we book along the way. We’ll either be staging near Jackson Hole, or potentially near Missoula. Details to come, and I’d want to limit it to 6 folks total.
