Reupholster a seat

I picked up a '94 Honda PC800 for a commuter and the old seat is beat up, still comfy, but sinks so much that my knees are basically level with my hips. Anyone redone a seat before?

I’m thinking of removing the cover and putting high density foam in there to raise it back up, but I don’t know if I need a HD stapler or if a construct one will work.

Obligatory pic so you can see the Tupperware cruiser.

Classic 80s-90s Honda. Need pics of the trunk under the seat. Looks clean :+1:

Miles and price?

I believe the term is ‘backpack’ for someone your size.

Super clean, just cracked 49k, got it for $1900. Some of the plastics have seen better days but it’s a 32-year-old motorcycle so I can’t complain.

Runs like a sewing machine, the previous owner bought it for his fiance and works at Sun Motorsports. So he got it in tip top running shape

Other than it being a little on the short side for me when sitting, rides smooth like an old Cadillac. Plus I’m getting at around 50 mpg.

It’s amazing you can fit 2 full sized helmets and more.

Ordered some generic highway pegs off eBay hoping to give myself more room to stretch out when cruising, and then need to fiddle with moving the foot rests back a little since getting my clodhopper feet under the shifter is a little tricky.

Nice! I believe those came out in the mid-late 80s, when I was just getting started. Bikes with plastics were just becoming a thing. I was riding an '86 Yamaha Radian remember when I first saw a PC800. Cool bike for the time.
