Rieju 300 Rally

Good looking bike and it is on the USA Rieju site too, looks like it will be available here. (hmm… it is shown on the Reiju global USA site, but not the USA Reiju importer site.) No price yet, specs show it is heavier and has less suspension travel than the $6,500 Honda 300L Rally, but it holds two more gallons of fuel than the Honda. Engine and suspension tune will be the real differentiators.

Great lookin’ bike! Would like to see 70hp.

How cool would this be with a Beta 480 RR engine in it?!

While I’m daydreaming… I wish the Fantic XEF Rally would be imported.

Who makes the engines for these bikes? I believe that AJP is using the TE610 engine from the mid / late 2000s.

Yep, AJP uses the Italian tooling they bought from KTM when Husqvarna was bought and integrated into the Austrian brand. I can’t find where the 300 engine is made, but it is likely that it comes from China’s HJMoto, the parent company of GPX who built the engines for the Rieju Aventura 500 (pic) which is supposed to be be like a better CB500X, but only available in Europe. The 307 might be partially assembled in what was the Spanish GasGas factory, made available from KTM buyout of the GasGas brand.

Mother GPT told me it’s made by Loncin.

Confirmed… Chinese. Many of the Chinese brands seem to be sharing engine development across platforms/companies, lots of bikes sharing what look like similar engines in a given displacement. IE Kove 800/CF Moto Ibex 800 / KTM 799.
