Hey everyone,
I’m thinking about scheduling a weekend ride trip out at Rifle Mountain park sometime in June. There are loads of fun scenic 2 track out there with some nice wide open meadows for setting up camp. As of right now, my month is pretty open o I haven’t set dates but wanted to put it out there and gauge interest. If you’re tentative but have specific dates that work better let me know. More to follow.
I’m free June 14-19th, then my wife goes out of town and I have solo dad duty.
Reviving this thread. Plan is to spend the wkend of 6/19 camping and riding in Rifle Mountain Park. Loads of two track in the area and probably some single. There’s a big meadow above the canyon that’s great for camping. Holler if interested!

I live part time on the other side of The Grand Mesa and will be there that weekend. For me, Friday or Saturday work well and could meet on either end or in between.
Google Map: 2192 CR 265,Somerset 81434, you’ll see where I’d come from. I’m probably 80-80 minutes to Rifle.
I know my end of The Mesa and out to Lands End Road reasonably well and would like to know more about what’s north of I70.

Transfer Trail going north out Glenwood is a riot, and it will connect to Rifle area through the flattops.
Will have to take a look at this! Thanks for the recc. That sounds like it would be a good long ride.
