Bought this 2025 500 EXC-F near the end of riding season last year, thinking I’d use it as a solo BDR machine. I’m kind of rethinking that plan, as it’s so damn buzzy on pavement, but I’d already bought a bunch of parts and kept them in the garage too long to send back. So, this week, installed a Yenkro rally tower, TrueNorth Motos tail/luggage rack, and Seat Concepts Comfort XL seat.

Would love suggestions on that. I knew the 500 had a reputation for being very buzzy, but most of what I saw focused on the bars. While there is some buzz through the bars, I was surprised at how much comes through the pegs and the seat.

Spent some time with a microfiber cloth and a can of Lemon Pledge getting all the desert dust off the bike. Keeps it pretty and allows me to check for loose fasteners and stuff.
