Route: This will be a social “B” route per our grading system, but if an A group wants to materialize and add some spice, please do so. All are welcome.We’ll start at Elite, head up Left Hand Canyon, Lickskillet to Gold Hill, Switzerland Trail, maybe a taste of Caribou, Ned to Rollinsville, up to the train tunnel, then lunch at Toss pizza in Rollinsville. From there, we can assess who wants more, or who needs to head home.
If an A group ride materializes, I’d like to be there. Isn’t Johnny Park and some stuff like that in the vicinity? I’ve not ridden those yet so I’m not volunteering to make a route or lead, Sorry!
I’d be into doing Johnny Park FS118/Pierson Park FS119 /Pole Hill FS122 loop sometime, start/end in Longmont. Ranger District road status page is showing all are open. Maybe on 9/28? If that date is good for you I’ll start another ride post.

To reiterate: this is a social ride, chill pace, everybody stays together day out. Please: no street tires or hard cases. Bring your radios and turn them on to the BCADV channel, just in case we need comms.
If anyone wants to cut off and run through west mag with me, that’s my plan. Adds a little spice and circles around to rollinsville to the group. Can head to tunnel after.
Depending on who shows up that may become the ride. We will see, but I want to make sure that this is a social ride for anyone new or not up for more technical stuff.
Can’t make this one thanks to high school marching band comp tomorrow! Stoked to see my kid perform, but secretly bummed that once again, parenting interferes with what really matters!

I’ll be there on the 500 if anyone wants to roll an A-ride. Maybe split off and do WestMag to Rollinsville, which would put us behind the group. Then ride up to the tunnel, regroup there, then blah blah to either Elk Park, Moon Gulch to pizza, or go straight to pizza from the tunnel.
