Welcome to BCADV! 👋 Introduce yourself

It is the Wolfman Luggage rackless base. The bigger one. Then I am running Sea to Summit Big River Dry bags on it. They are much cheaper than moto brand ones and almost as durable. They come in 5-6 different sizes. So I’ve got some small ones for day trips and some bigger ones for multiple nights. Only takes a couple minutes to change. Very modular and affordable. The loops on the side of the dry bag line up well with the Wolfman straps so they are very secure. Dry Bag

Lol. Definitely should have joined sooner. Just found I have a blown fork seal on the 890 today. Fortunately the 450 is ready to ride. Once I get it fixed let’s definitely get out for a ride. Hopefully before it’s too cold.

Yeah that’s the direction I’m going. Base + non-moto bags.

Hi all. I’m Melanie, wife of @Kurdz2408. I ride enduro and adventure. I love anything with two wheels, bicycles included. I have a KTM 390 Adventure and this summer I made the switch to a KTM 350XCW after several years on a CRF250X. We rode the Black Hills BDR-X with a friend in August and it was awesome!

Hi all, my name is Craig. I first moved to Colorado in ‘94, then a few years later moved back to my hometown of Pittsburgh, and then convinced the spouse to move back to CO in 2015. We live in Boulder now. I’ve been riding longer than I care to admit, pretty much have been riding since my first Honda MR50 my dad got me when I was 4. When I was younger I raced GNCC as well as harescrambles in AMA District 5 in Western PA for many years. Since moving back to CO I was roadracing a Ninja 400 with the MRA (any other MRA folks here?). My current off-road machine in a 2019 GasGas EC 300. It is plated so I can ride on the road for short stints but I mainly just ride on the road to get to the trails and connect to other trails. If I’m riding local it’s typically the jeep trails off of the Peak to Peak. Along with the Ninja400, the remaining bike in my garage is a ‘96 Honda NSR 250 that is also plated but I mainly ride it at track days. Really excited to connect with some of the members here on a small bike ride at some point in the future.

I’m Jeremy. I am originally from Idaho, but have mostly been in Colorado since 1994 (currently live in Longmont). I am recently retired so spend lots of time riding moto and bicycles.

I like to ride dirtbikes (Husky TE300 and Husky FE350) and my big bike (KTM 890r) and plan to do multiple BDRs next year.

I am excited to ride with and meet many of you soon!

Many Longmonsters in here. Welcome!

Welcome all! Have to try to get everyone to the monthly moto-socials after they first join! Especially as we get into winter, it would be an easy way to meet up with the group.

Hey Everyone! I finally made it over from Facebook once I realized there was an app. Really excited to see such an active group in this area. I live about 20 min East of Boulder and am always riding up in that area. I’ve only been ridding for about a year with my 300 Rally. Looking to find more people to ride with now that I have some miles under me. I can usually only ride on weekdays since I work most weekends. If there is anyone else who can ride on the weekdays, let’s meet up! Here are a couple pictures from my solo CO BDR trip I completed in September.

Nice, and welcome! I prefer weekdays, but we’re definitely seeing the season wind down.

Like last year, we will be doing a monthly educational series as part of our monthly Moto social. Stay tuned.

Hi, my name is Todd Varra, thanks for allowing me to join. I’ve lived in Boulder, Louisville and Lafayette all my life. Was fortunate enough to ride dirt bikes where flatiron crossing is now, Caribou, and the Left Hand OHV trails before they closed. Enjoy mounting biking, gravel biking, telemark skiing,(both area and back country), and enduro / woods riding. I ride a ktm 300 xcw and ktm 890 adventure r. Would like to do more riding on the big bike but have no one to ride with at the moment. Hoping to meet some like minded folks. Thank you.

NSR 250!!! Very cool. I had a 97 Honda HRC RS250 for racing with the AFM when I lived in northern CA. Raced vintage TD/TR Yamahas with AHRMA too. I had started compiling Hawk GT parts to build an RC31 replica for AHRMA a few years ago but then all of the closest AHRMA races dropped off of the schedule and my interest waned.

Welcome, Todd. You’re in the right place!

@MotoJason an RS250! super cool, I would love to get an RS250 someday, that bike must have been a lot of fun to ride at the track!

It was the most fun! A LOT of work, but on the track it was brilliant!
